About Nurse Kelsey

Hi!  My name is Kelsey Rockstroh!  If I have not met you yet, then hello!  If we have met or talked before, then hello again! I am a Saint Mary's graduate, Class of 2014.  I have worked in both the hospital setting and community setting, school health being my favorite.  This will be my 5th year school nursing.  

 

I am so excited to be the supervising nurse for your student.   I am a Christian girl that believes in understanding each individual for who they are and what they need.  Not everyone is the same and I try my hardest to make the accommodations necessary to make everyone, parents and students, comfortable while your child is in my care.

I have a little girl myself, that just turned two.  Please pray for me!  She is the perfect mixture of happy, sassy, cuddly, and independent.  She definitely has a little fiery personality.  That being said, becoming a mother has allowed me to put myself in the shoes of a parent.  Knowing that each parent is doing the best they can for their child.  I am always here to listen to our input, and in return I hope you will give the respect to listen to my thoughts as well.

Some little tidbits about myself:

• I love Diet Coke--especially fountain! It is my weakness!

• I love fresh cut flowers.  I love the way they bring brightness to my soul.  

• A good grilled cheese can melt my heart!

• I love a good pun!

• I am not the most perfect human being and I have my flaws, but I am trying my best to accept myself the way I am!
